To our Ski Sawmill Family,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Knefley, who along with her husband, Mike, Sr., initially purchased Ski Sawmill 25 years ago. Many of you know their son, Mike Knefley II, who has been the manager/ owner for that same amount of time.
Joyce was an integral part of Ski Sawmill’s success over the years. She took on many behind the scene roles until her health declined in the last few years. Joyce was always willing to help where and whenever needed especially loving the extra time with her children, grandchildren, employees, and extended Sawmill family. One of her favorite things to do was corner people (who often needed it) and personally encourage them in their struggles through her strong faith.
We ask that you keep the family in your prayers, and please feel free to share any photos or memories of Joyce.
Friends may call at Coudersport Alliance Church on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with a Service for Celebration of Life following at 4:00 PM. A dinner open to all will be held at 5:00 PM at the same location.�
