Our resort’s peak elevation reaches 2,215 feet, with a base elevation of 1,770 feet, providing a thrilling 515-foot vertical drop. For those seeking even more excitement, our terrain park, conveniently located adjacent to the double chairlift, offers a variety of features for freestyle enthusiasts. Whether you’re a beginner finding your footing or an experienced rider, Ski Sawmill has something for everyone to enjoy.
What's New in '24/'25
This summer, we dedicated time to refreshing and preparing Ski Sawmill for the upcoming season. We pressure-washed and stained our decks, repainted floors throughout the lodge’s lower level, and gave all bathrooms, doors, and more a fresh coat of paint. Beyond cosmetic updates, we’ve been hard at work maintaining our lifts, groomers, and snow guns to ensure everything is in peak condition. Notably, our main T-bar received a brand-new, nearly 5,000-foot-long cable.
Did you know that our lifts undergo rigorous annual inspections by Labor and Industry? This includes yearly wire rope inspections and a detailed structural analysis of 20% of our grips, complete with magna flux testing to detect even the smallest cracks invisible to the naked eye. All this work is carried out by our dedicated, small team, who pour their passion and expertise into making Ski Sawmill the best it can be for our guests.
